MORE FROM LOVELY DESIGN...
Found paper sampler for collage/art/craft projects (or whatever else you think of) and beautiful journals filled with "found paper" pages, all at Lovely Design.

One day when I have some *extra* money, I'm going to treat myself to a shopping spree at the Lovely Design website. I REALLY want the beautiful wood address file with "found paper" cards.

FAVORITE NOTEBOOKS
I use these "Oh Boy" notebooks by Chronicle Books (available from Chronicle directly or from Rain Dogs). for jotting down all of my random thoughts. They have a hard cover and the paper has a little stiffness, so it won't shred to pieces when I toss them in my bag.

I think these bookplates and bookmarks are lovely but what I really love is the packaging! Available from Rain Dogs.

COLORS TO CONSIDER...

I love the colors of this card from Binth. Now I'm rethinking the color scheme for the craft room...

PRETTY RIBBON...

Vintage from Les Bon Ribbon

I love the colors on this card from Joy by Mel Lim available at Luxe Paperie. Thinking about it for my craft room...

...though maybe with aqua rather than this bluish-green.

The New York Palace in Budapest. Love the chandelier!

Pretty design-related stamps from the US Post Office, available online...

I made an inspiration collage with some ideas for my son's room—not so much inspiration as the stuff I plan to use.

Another fabric from Repro Depot. This one has inspired me to redo my son's room, using this as the jumping off point...

I love the color and pattern of this fabric from ReproDepot (one of my very favorite sites!) What could I use this for...?

A very pretty picture of an inspiration collage from "Bella Dia" blog (see it here). I love the idea of incorporating flowers!

I love this photograph from Blueprint of items that you can enlarge and use to create homemade artwork for your home. Here is a link to Martha Stewart website to see how it's done.

An image from a recent New York Times article "The Secret Source is Out" by Kimberly Stevens.

From Decor8 (one of my very favorite blogs!). This is an example of Holly's inspiration book—she makes one and encourages all of her design clients to do the same. On her site she explains step-by-step how to make your own.

I love looking at designer's and artist's inspiration boards. They are so inspiring to me. Here I will post photos, links, and other media that I find interesting and inspirational. Here's a photo I took. I'm thinking about using these colors in the master or guest bedroom.

This one all started with the colorful beads that belonged to my grandmother. I love them!

The two floral dishes and coral hook are from Anthropologie.
